Workers and Traders make up the vast majority of ‘the people.’ Thus, a true democracy would primarily serve the interests of working people – ensuring living wages, safe working conditions, shorter work weeks, healthcare as a human right, affordable housing, healthy food, a sustainable planet, quality childcare and education, dignified retirements, equal rights of all people and world peace.

Having seen beyond the shores of Nigeria, we recognised the pivotal role the rule of law plays as the fundamental principle that protects the lives of every citizen of Edo State, fostering human development and economic growth. Sadly, the non-adherence to these fundamental principles has hindered our growth, leaving us in a state of stagnation.

We understand that to embrace the rule of law is not just a commitment to justice, it is a catalyst for progress. By upholding the principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability, we’re paving the way for a more inclusive and thriving Edo State.
